Transforming Touch is an attachment-focused, neurophysiological treatment utilizing hands-on healing for Developmental Trauma.

Transforming Touch crosses the barriers of non-verbal and recognizes that through regulation, the client can begin to change their story about their non-verbal, early trauma and gain greater capacity.

I practice a specific Trauma-Informed modality called "Transforming the Experience-Based Brain" (TEB) taught by Steve Terrell at Austin Attach (www.austinattach.com).

Transforming Touch (TEB) is an offspring of SE and targets developmental trauma (from pre-conception to 3-5 years old) and its pre-verbal stages. The modality is based on the idea that when there are ruptures during early platform development, they continue to disrupt a person's life.  TEB focuses on the nervous system and the co-regulation between practitioner and client, incorporating presence, regulation, and relationship to repair these ruptures. Once trust and safety have been established for the “young” physiology on the table, existing traumas can unfold and be processed.  TEB rebuilds the original physiological regulatory foundational piece that never existed in the early years. Touch comes in support to the younger self, held in trust and safety on the table.
